Two Years of Hope, Courage, and Love

Two years ago, a group of passionate activists came together with a shared vision to create a safe and accepting space for the LGBT+ community in Kurdistan. Thus, Yeksani was founded, with a mission to educate and empower individuals, raise awareness about LGBT+ human rights, and advocate for inclusivity and acceptance.

Today, as we mark our second anniversary, we reflect on the journey we have undertaken and the progress we have made.

Since our founding, Yeksani has become a symbol of hope, courage, and love for those who struggle to be accepted for who they are. Our message of inclusivity and acceptance is more vital than ever before, as we continue to fight against discrimination and marginalization. We remain steadfast in our commitment to achieving equality and justice for all.

Our path has not been an easy one. As we peacefully protest for better human rights in our country, we have faced adversity and hate from those who do not share our vision. However, our resilience and determination have kept us moving forward, and we remain as committed as ever to our cause.

We believe that our resilience serves as proof that the human spirit is unbreakable, and that love will always triumph over hate. It is this belief that inspires us to keep fighting for the rights of our community, to ensure that everyone can live their lives freely and authentically.

As we mark this day together, we recognize that there is still much work to be done. The journey towards achieving equality is a long one, and there are still many obstacles to overcome. But as activists and members of the LGBT+ community, we remain dedicated to our mission, working with passion and unwavering commitment to achieve our goals.

Our hope for the future is that our work will inspire others to join us in the fight for equality. We hope to make a difference in the lives of those who have been marginalized and discriminated against, and to create a more accepting and inclusive society. It is our mission to inspire others to join us, to create a brighter future for all.

Two years ago, Yeksani was founded with a dream of a better future for the LGBT+ community in Kurdistan. Today, that dream is stronger than ever, and we will continue to work tirelessly until it becomes a reality.
